Victoria Department of Justice - Integrated Court Management System Project
MAXNetWork in conjunction with MAXIMUS Inc is implementing the CourtView system in the Victorian Department of Justice. CourtView is a web-based electronic courts management system and will form the hub of Victoria's Integrated Court Management System project, a $32m project approved by the Victorian government in 2005-2006. CourtView is a highly flexible product that meets the needs of all Victorian courts and tribunals. CourtView allows for the integration of major court systems and requirements, including case and financial management, docketing, scheduling, forms and notices, and reporting of cases at all stages of the judicial process. It also facilitates online public access to non-restricted case information, eFiling of court documents, online enquiries by case parties and online payments.
MAXNetWork has been working with the Victorian Department of Justice and the systems integrator to enhance the CourtView product to meet the needs of Australian users. The CourtView product will then be rolled out in 4 stages to 53 courts. The Victorian Department of Justice will be managing the implementation of these releases and is being support by Project Managers from the MAXNetWork Consulting arm and product experts from MAXIMUS Inc. The first release, for the Supreme Court, will be implemented by June 2009, with the remaining jurisdictions coming online in late 2009 and early 2010.
The CourtView product is just one of many solutions that MAXNetWork and MAXIMUS Inc can provide to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of organisations. Please contact us if you would like to know more about this innovative solution.
